Public transportation, our daily torment

Overall, public transportation in Brazil has always been of low quality and, with rare exceptions, was never worthy of a positive evaluation from users. The main reasons for this negative situation are the lack of planning and control on the part of city governments, who are responsible for implementing the systems, and the lack of a strategic vision and continuity on this issue by the federal government as it establishes public transportation policies.
